Adult Beginner Guitar Progress Self Taught For 1000 Days
I am an adult guitar beginner and I wanna share my 1000 days of guitar practice. How long does it take to learn how to shred on the guitar? I think it depends on what you mean by "know how to play guitar" and who you can call a guitarist. For some people, if you are able to strum open chords, you are a guitar player. Others think you can't call yourself a guitarist while you can't shred 200bpm and faster. As for me, learning guitar is an endless journey, which I started a few years ago, and I wanna share it with you. I started my guitar learning on March 27, 2017, when I took the guitar for the first time in my life. I think it's always harder to start as an adult beginner of guitar or any other musical instrument, but if you will keep enough motivation during the learning process, you will succeed.
In the first few days, I had very quick progress when I learned a few open chords, but soon my progress on guitar just got stuck. I was so close to quitting, and I almost did! But then I decided not to give up so fast.
Actually, I started to record myself on the video to watch my own progress. At first, it was very hard to make myself practice every day, but as soon as I started seeing progress it motivated me more and more.
I hope it could inspire and motivate people to start their own journey of learning a musical instrument or whatever else.
